A 24-hour total closure of the eastbound mainlanes of I-10 from Mason Road to Katy Fort Bend County Road is scheduled to take place beginning Friday, Oct. 21, at 9 p.m. to Saturday at 9 p.m. All I-10 eastbound traffic will be detoured onto the I-10 eastbound frontage road at the exit ramp for Highway 99 and will re-enter I-10 eastbound mainlanes after the signal via the next entrance ramp. Mason Road eastbound entrance ramp will also be closed.
Also, I-10 westbound from Mason Road to Katy Fort Bend Road will be totally closed from Saturday at 11 a.m. to Monday at 5 a.m. All I-10 westbound traffic will be detoured onto the I-10 eastbound frontage road at the exit ramp for Highway 99 and will re-enter I-10 eastbound mainlanes after the signal via the next entrance ramp. Mason Road westbound entrance ramp will also be closed.
